http://www.kwarp.com/portfolio/grammarninja.html I used this website in a special needs classroom and it worked really well! You can set the level of difficulty and it is interactive and fun!
This website is great for lots of interactive educational games but I found one on grammar cal Grammar Gorillas that is great. It asks students to identify the different parts of speech. If correct, the gorillas get a banana.
http://www.glencoe.com/sec/teachingtoday/subject/to_teach.phtml This is an interesting website on why grammar is still important, especially for higher grade students and ways to teach it.
Here's another one! I LOVE Brain Pop! I def recommend this web site, especially for middle school. There's also a Brain Pop Jr. for elementary grades. This link is the grammar Brain Pop section but they have funny videos on all subjects.
I found the website www.chompchomp.com! It's interactive and fun and I enjoyed checking it out.
ReplyDeleteI found this very cool website http://www.quill.org/, which both teaches students about grammar and assesses them with passages to proofread!
